The top most pane in the Window is called the Ribbon bar. It has the following options displayed below…

- Add Document
Use this option to add your Document to FileEazy!.
Note: Before you start adding documents to FileEazy, you will need to create a Document Type and a Department.
FileEazy allows you to add different file formats. Allowed file extensions are: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .flv, .mp4, .ogv, .mp3, .ogg, .wav, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tif, .dwg, .zip.
Maximum file upload size: 128M
- Add e-document
Utilize this feature in FileEazy to effortlessly create concise and quick documents. It proves to be beneficial when you need to promptly add crucial information and save it directly within FileEazy.
Tip : This is also used when you decide to start a new project where you would like to create a file.
- Add Document Type
In order to upload a document to FileEazy, it is necessary to specify a Document Type. Document Types serve the purpose of identifying, classifying, and categorizing the various documents that are added to the system. This classification facilitates faster document retrieval by utilizing the indexing information associated with each document through its Document Type.
You can use the Add Document Type button to create a Document Type.
By default, every Document Type includes fields for Document Number and Document Name. These field names can be customized according to your specific needs and they are also mandatory so that the data will be stored in a defined location
FileEazy supports the following field types while creating index fields…
1. Alphanumeric
2. Number
3. Date
4. Picklist
5. Yes/No
- Add Stack
Stacks offer a convenient and efficient way to view your documents in one centralized place that is distributed among various Document Types and Departments.
For instance, imagine receiving diverse documents on a daily basis from a company named Acmetech, such as Invoices, Purchase Orders, Payment Receipts, Agreements, and Bids. By creating a stack named Acmetech, you can easily access and review all documents related to Acmetech in one centralized location, rather than having to search through different Document Types/Departments individually.
You can use the Add Stack button to create a Stack.
